*sorry this is shorter than the last four "epics", but I'm trying to catch up to wear I should be in the Tourney
******* A white burst of light and the White Ranger finds himself back in the city. He starts a 360 degree of where he landed. He takes note that the teleportation dropped him about a mile up the road from where his fight with Ancestor took place. Once he had completed his look around, he sees a beam a light lands in front of him. When the light dissipated, he sees a young woman. She was anthropomorphic. He hadn't personally met one, but had heard the Space Rangers had met some anthropomorphic turtles on one of their missions. She was a blue cat, domestic by the look of it. She wore an orange hoodie, green mini skirt, and white gloves. The gloves reminded him of the kind worn by Mickey Mouse. The woman looked around and noticed the Ranger. She smiled and waved at him. The Ranger was a little taken back. Till now, his opponents hadn't been so nice.
"Guess you're my opponent." The Ranger says.
"That'd be me." the young cat woman said in a bubbly tone.
The Ranger crossed his arms and just looked at her. He was trying to figure her out. In his helmet his eyes shift down. The woman notices that he seems a little distracted. Using that as an opportunity she rushes him. The Ranger hears it coming. She leaps into the air and tries to kick him. The Ranger shifts to his right and lets her fly past him. She lands and turns to attack again. She picks up a pipe that was on the ground and attacks with it. She swings it like a sword in a vee pattern. The Ranger dodges quickly to the left and right while moving backward.
"I need to get to the end of this tourny. Gotta make this quick." The Ranger thought.
The cat girl swings straight down at him. He dodges again, this time he grabs the pipe as it's going down. He pulls it and the girl forward hard. She lets out a quiet eek as she's shoots towards the Ranger. The Ranger pulls her in front of him. With his right arm he swings around puts her in a head lock.
"Sleepy time." The Ranger said jovially.
The head lock turned into a sleeper hold. She knew what he was doing, and attempted to stop him. She tried gut punching him with her elbow. She tried foot stomping, but to no avail. The Ranger was able to take the hits and keep the hold. She finally succumbed to the hold after a good five minutes. The Ranger was surprised, she held longer than he thought. He laid her up against a nearby building. He then walks off, waiting for teleportation.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
